It’s not just corporate America that’s downsizing – stars are too! Take Demi Moore, who stepped out with her tres petite and tres adorable Yves Saint Laurent Mini Downtown Tote. I love the original Downtown, and could see how a smaller bite-sized patent version would be convenient, but I think when all is said and done, I’d rather have the big one. What do you think? Does size matter? Is the mini version too “little girl”? Or can Demi have her Ashton and her tiny handbag too?

Is it just me, or is fringe all over the place right now? And speaking of things that are all over the place, here’s little Lindsay Lohan with a brown suede fringed handbag of her very own. While it’s not something I’d pair with an all-black outfit (leggings again?!?), but I dig the purse’s bohemian edge, which is just right for the approaching summer. Very peace love and happiness, don’t you think? Now, who’s the designer?

Oh, that lucky duck. Not only is she eternally chic and staggeringly cool, but that Brit goddess Kate Moss also has a rather crafty designer handbag supplier. Last time we saw Kate the Great she was waving around her limited-edition Gucci Sloaney bag; now, it’s this lovely black Louis Vuitton Suede Asphalt Purse, part of a collaboration with director/style icon Sofia Coppola. Not only does the handbag perfectly suit Kate’s style, but it’s also amazingly versatile while staying totally luxe. Color me jealous.

Dane Kruger has really emerged as one of the new designer handbag-obsessed starlets. We’ve seen her with Goyard, we’ve seen her with Alexander McQueen, and now we’re seeing her with Chanel. Of course, Diane’s eclectic fashion sense means she’s not going to go for the classic black quilted 2.55, but rather this funkier embellished version. Hey, I can get down with originality. What I cannot get down with, however, are those harem pants. Please burn these now.

I love a good Kylie Minogue sighting, and this latest batch of photos doesn’t disappoint. The Aussie superstar looks chic (as usual) in her summery white frock and nude heels, all accented nicely by her mini-sized Yves Saint Laurent Downtown purse in a brushed gold. It’s all very goddess glam, and I think she looks fantastic. I’ve never been a huge fan of miniature handbags, but I guess when you’re as tiny as Kylie, that’s the only option.
