No sweats and baggy, formula-stained tees for this mama. Jennifer Lopez (accompanied by her dapper son Max) looked impeccably chic in diva sunglasses, a beautiful striped sheath, and a brown croc Hermes Birkin. (Note to Max: Now would be a REALLy bad time to spit up.)

Another day, another starlet working out with a designer handbag by her side. Hilary Duff got sweaty in sneaks with her trainer, but that didn’t stop her from adding a little Hollywood glam with her yellow Goyard handbag. Hilary’s set to join the cast of “Gossip Girl” soon, so perhaps she’s just practicing walking around with all those fabulous purses on her arm – that kind of experience will come in handy on the GG set!

Eat your heart out, Audrey Hepburn. British crooner Lily Allen is doing her best Holly Golightly impersonation for the new Chanel purse campaign, which features a luscious array of puffy Coco Cocoon handbags. I love the ad’s black and white look (shot by Karl Lagerfeld, don’t you know), but what do you think about the bags?

Seriously, how do I get cast on “Gossip Girl”? Their outfits are just fabulous to resist…even if I have to play somebody’s RA or something. Blake Lively hit the set with real-life boyfriend Penn Badgley in a chic (if not really short) tunic dress paired with a funky turquoise Treesje The Jovi purse. I love the handbag’s pop of color and studded details – very hip.

Score another win for the “Gossip Girl” stylists. Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester looked dressed to kill in their dapper suit (him) and lilac ruffled blouse paired with a pretty floral skirt and a bold bubblegum pink ostrich clutch from Nancy Gonzalez (her). Now, the purse is a little wild for my tastes – both the pink ostrich leather and the gold handle – but overall it’s a hot look.

It’s hard to look like a hippie when you’re carrying a Barneys shopping bag, but somehow that boho queen Kate Hudson pulls it off with her retro knit halter, distressed flared jeans, and snakeskin purse.
