Fergie arriving for a flight at LAX airport carrying a luxe Red Hermes Birkin.
Fergie has recently decided to take a break from her music career and put plans for a second solo LP – the follow-up to 2006’s ‘The Dutchess’ – on hold and have some time away from the pop world and her band the Black Eyed Peas.
Speaking about her decision to have a break in 2011 rather than make new music, Fergie said: “I’ve got a lot on my plate and this year is more about simplifying and really paying attention to the projects that I have and spending some time with the hubby, you know?”
Fergie spotted outside her New York City hotel earlier this week looking effortlessly NY-Chic.
The fergster dressed in all black paired her L’Wren Scott jeans with an embellished jacket and finished the look with oversized sunnies (a must right?), very fabulous studded booties and the Dolce & Gabbana ‘Miss Sicily’ Leather Tote.
The Miss Sicily is pretty much one of the most amazing bags out by the design team. The timelessly stylish bag features classic gold-tone hardware, shiny leather, spacious interior with two interior compartments, and an optional shoulder strap.
Stop…HAMMER TIME. Fergie’s attempt to bring Hammer pants back from the dead fell with a big thud (thank God!), and those blue-trimmed shades didn’t fare much better. On the bright side, Fergie did earn some style points for pairing this disastrous look with Alexander Wang’s Donna Hobo, the bag du jour for rocker girls. But seriously…who the hell let her out of the house like this?

Stop. Turn around. Let’s see if we can’t find something better lurking in that closet of yours, Fergie. The pop star had a rare style misstep in this too-long, too-slashed-up black tunic thrown over gray skinny jeans. Throw in fringed bracelets and the indie downtown purse du jour, Alexander Wang’s Donna bag, complete with black leather, two front pouches, and heavy zipper details, and you’ve got a look that screams “rock chick.” I’m all for that – and I dig the handbag – but that top has got to be 86?ed.
Perez who? Bandmates Fergie and Will.i.am seem to have bounced back from the latest Black Eyed Peas drama just in time to hit the Paris menswear shows. First stop: Louis Vuitton! Fergie showed some major brand loyalty in her midnight blue Louis Vuitton frock cinched with a glam LV belt. But the best part for me is her wicked Louis Vuitton clutch, from the Fall ‘09 collection. Softly quilted deep blue body, black sides, and a bad-ass studded leather belt down the middle – I’m in love!

That Alexander Wang is certainly getting around. In addition to being a favorite with indie “it” girls like Erin Wasson and Alice Dellal, his designs are also getting play with more mainstream starlets like Rihanna and, now, Fergie, who paired his Donna Hobo with her rock-influenced skinny jeans, black top, and sexy cut-out heels. I think this look is a slam-dunk–hip and rock star-ish without looking costumey or contrived.
Fergie was spotted carrying a Valentino Glamorous Tote along with her very casual getup. It just so happen that the bag’s name is similar to her another hit song “Glamorous”, although looking at her would ironically tell that everything on her is of the exact opposite.
The bag is very enchanting as it is covered with all those petal appliqués in leather cutouts. There are also jeweled accents on some of the petals to somewhat make it look livelier and to keep a very feminine and refined appeal. This looks like it would be perfect to use on smart casual attires, unlike on Fergie’s rugged getup with bucket hat and holey jeans. This measures about 12 x 15½ x 7 inches and is indeed perfect for daily use, but make sure to complement this with the right outfit so as not to look odd.
The nude shade on the calf leather is obviously in neutral tone which could be easily matched with just about any outfit. This Valentino bag is priced at a hefty $2,995, and it definitely shows that this purse is truly glamorous and luxurious for all seasons use.
