We are absolutely loving Rose McGowan’s new look. The actress hit her peak in the late 90′s and had a signature look of an evil Snow White complete with dark curls, porcelain skin, red lips and an all-knowing smirk. These days she’s going for a more mature, subdued look which is elegant nonetheless. The platinum blonde hair complements her fair skin just as well. Her brown boots are well accessorized with this beige Chanel Tote from the 2013 Cruise collection.
The bag has the classic trademark Chanel quilted pattern. We’re seeing a larger tote style Chanel after quite a while. The last time big Chanel bags were spotted everywhere was when Paris Hilton was always carrying them with her pet pooches inside. The newer version is actually more stylish and sleek. Maybe because Paris hasn’t been spotted with them yet.
We recently did a post on Kyle Richards, one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Sister to Paris and Nicky Hiton’s mom, the cool aunt loves to party with her nieces. The entire clan is known for their love of Chanel bags. As wealthy as they are, it’s not often that they’re spotted with anything else, even though there’s nothing they can’t afford.
You can count on seeing any of them with a Chanel bag. Kyle likes to party with a silver Chanel flap bag but she’s often spotted with her Chanel Cerf in beige. When she’s out shopping or running errands with her younger kids, this is the bag you’re likely to spot her with. Lady Gaga has the same bag in black. It’s actually no less glam than a Birkin if you dress the part.
Gwen Stefani is a pop star turned-designer who is more into fashion now than music. She’s always impeccably dressed whenever she’s seen out in public. Her two boys also look like adorable tots in designer duds and bleached locks. Gwen has an immaculate handbag collection but she’s most often spotted carrying one of her numerous Chanel bags.
This is one of her Jumbo Flap bags. The Chanel bag comes in Patent Leather for a very sleek and shiny look. It’s the kind of shine that doesn’t fade and also doesn’t pick up stains. So if you’re thinking about buying a white flap bag, make sure that it’s patent leather. This one’s actually green but looks more turquoise or sea-green than anything else. The color is very quirky but in the best way.
Kyle Richards is one of the most well-known Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She’s the sister of Kathy Hilton, making her the first aunt of Nicky And Paris Hilton. She’s younger than her sister and chooses to spend time partying with her nieces instead, when she’s not busy filming for her wildly popular reality series. Her daughter is also close friends (and cousin) to the Hilton siblings.
Kyle has often been spotted shopping or walking with her Chanel handbags. One of her favorites is the silver Jumbo Flap Bag. This style is very easy to carry over the shoulder and it’s roomy enough to hold your things. Kyle likes to keep her neutral colored bags for casual outings and opts for the metallic one for wild nights out.

Okay, this is weird. It’s one of those rares occasions on which we don’t love something a celebrity is wearing. Diane Kruger is one of those actress/models who excel at both of those jobs. She’s been a leading lady in so many major Hollywood flicks. She’s so high up in the respected models list that Karl Lagerfeld has a soft spot for her. She’s one of his fashion muses the way Blake Lively of Gossip Girl is. Maybe that’s why she agreed to carry this somewhat ridiculous bag?
Her outfit is just drop dead gorgeous. Slim, well cut pants and a super FABULOUS fur coat. Classic black strappy sandals. The white polka dotted shirt is something we’d love to steal from her closet. Overall, her outfit is a total win. But the bag? Don’t get us wrong, Chanel is an amazing brand. But how many women are going to spend thousands of dollars on a bag that’s made of plexiglass and looks like a toy? It’s ALMOST as ridiculous as the hula hoop bag:
Diane Kruger was spotted in New York a few days ago with husband Joshua Jackson. Her outfit is a testament to her modeling days and tells you she is well versed in the do’s and don’t of fashion. Whatever she’s wearing underneath is a mystery but her navy peacoat looks so stylish and shows off her slender legs. The mile high heels don’t look too shabby either.
The purse she’s got over her shoulder is the Chanel 224 Crocodile Reissue Flap Bag. We’ve noted that we’re not seeing celebrities carrying the quilted Chanel flap bags as much anymore. Those were carried so much in the last five years that people seem to have quilted bag fatigue. However, chain bags and flap bags are just as trendy as ever. Its important to mix it up and try new colors, sizes and textures like croc leather. Diane looks fab overall.
