Kate Bosworth bundled up in a chunky scarf and oversized beige winter coat, trying to stays warm as she strolls around New York City’s SoHo neighborhood over the weekend. Her whole outfit to me isn’t really anything to praise, but that bag, oh my gosh, her bag is just incredibly fabulous.

That gorgeous piece of arm candy, dangling from Kate’s shoulder, is the Diego by Alexander Wang. Wang is one of fashion newest rising stars. He only recently launched his line in 2004 and is already a household name.

Last night Rhianna was photographed leaving Milk Studios in NYC with a new blond do and her Alexander Wang Coco Mini Duffel handbag. Not sure about the hair but the handbag is amazing.

Man, I really need to get into that “High School Musical” racket – Disney must pay really well given the caliber of the designer purses star Ashley Tisdale is constantly flashing. Her she is showing off her covetable Alexander Wang Mini Duffle handbag, known for its textured black leather and brass-studded base. It’s definitely on my shopping wish list…so watch your back, Ash.

Shocking but true – fanny packs are hot! Well, at least Alexander Wang’s Max Fanny Pack purse is. Christina Aguilera showcased the stone-washed handbag on a recent outing, smartly draping it over one shoulder to accomodate her petite frame. The bag gets its name from the boxy two-pouch shape, though we doubt we’ll see too many Bermuda short-wearing tourists trying to pull this off.

Proving that a designer handbag can make even a gray t-shirt and denim cutoffs look hot, “The Hills” starlet Kristin Cavallari hit the town with her fierce Alexander Wang Coco handbag with the bad-ass studded bottom. (Man, I’m dying to get that bag.) What a perfect way to inject some NYC edge into her cool LA look.

Lest you were any doubt that Rihanna was a fan of Alexander Wang (and who isn’t?), the Bajan beauty underlined the fact by stepping out with the designer du jour’s fabulous Daphne Duffle, a simply stunning textured black leather handbag (or carry-on, if you like) with two straps and antiqued brass hardware. The texture really gives the bag some edge, and Rihanna, in her all-black ensemble and fierce gold chains, looks wicked with it.

There’s a new man in Rihanna’s life: Alexander Wang. The singer has already been spied carrying Wang’s Brenda purse recently, but now she’s got the Donna on her arm (and yes, we detect a 90210 theme going on here). I dig the distressed, stone-washy effect of Rihanna’s version, which oddly complements her shades. Plus, it’s a funky handbag like this is a great way to liven up a simple black dress like the one Rihanna is wearing. It’s all about the accessories, people.
