It’s been a while since Anne Hathaway has been spotted out and about. In fact, the last time she had a visible presence in the media world was right after she won an Oscar for her work in Le Mis. Around that time, she’d been showing up in so many films, red carpets and award shows that America was starting to turn on her. In fact, Jennifer Lawrence was beloved at that very moment while Anne was getting all the hate. Anne disappeared for a while and Jennifer Lawrence oversaturated the airwaves. Now everyone’s sick of JLaw and Anne commands a neutral opinion from the public.
From the looks of these movie stills with Robert De Niro and this gorgeous Celine Box bag, this is going to be the new The Devil Wears Prada. The twist is in this upcoming film the intern, De Niro is the internet and Anne’s character is the one that’s got it all figured out. This is going to be SO GOOD!
Anna Hathaway seems to be on a journey back to good health. After slimming down to scary emaciated levels, the Oscar winning actress seems to be a lot more relaxed and a lot less…hungry. She’s also gone back to her brunette roots after a brief stint as a blonde, which we loved. It was a look only she has been able to pull off, looking feminine inspite of the short length of her locks.
She’s carrying the Classic Duffle by controversial designer Hedi Slimane, who was hired to design for YSL and ended up scrapping the name and changing it to Saint Laurent, much to the dismay of the fashion world. Even though many miss the old logos, fashion giants like Kate Moss and Gwyneth Paltrow are also fans of this duffle.
This is beginning to look like Anne Hathaway’s year. While the actress has been wildly popular since her teen-flick days in the late 90’s, her latest film Les Miserables is hot with Oscar buzz. Her short hair has also had the fashion world talking. The beauty had to starve herself to lose weight for the film but now that she’s beginning to look healthy again, her mood seems to have lifted and her style has gone up with it! Here she is landing in Narita airport with hubby Adam Schulman while toting around a Givenchy Antigona bag.
This bag has been spotted with many other celebs, but no one makes it look as classy as Anne. Her famous stylist Rachel Zoe carried the same bag about a year ago but it was lost in the sea of accessories she’s continuously pictured with. Since Anne hasn’t made a business of stepping out in designer goods, when she does get spotted with one, we know it’s because she really likes it. The bag has a riche dark blue suede exterior with a unique zebra imprint. It’s simple but exquisitely refined because of it’s subtle designs. It’s also roomy enough to be the perfect bag for any girl who has to cram all her stuff in to catch a flight but wants to look good too.
Anne Hathaway is the face of Italian Accessories Brand TOD’s new Signature Handbags Collection, photographed by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, styled by Karl Templer and under the creative direction of Fabien Baron.
The campaign is aiming to reach a younger clientele with color ranges from vivid red, electric blue, violet and fuchsia to more subtle shades of lavender, beige and cream.
The Signature Collection, will be officially launched in Paris on October 1, during Fashion Week, and be available in stores from that month.
Um, if you want to go incognito and hide from the paps, it’s probably not a great idea to wear a multicolored clown wig. And why carry a lovely Chanel purse if you don’t want to draw any attention? Anne Hathaway may not be logical, but there’s no denying that the girl’s got good fashion sense. I adore the vibrant turquoise hue of her puffy little Chanel Bubble Quilt handbag…so fun and summery! It doesn’t really suit her plaid top, but it sure does complement that crazy wig!
