Could those Chanel ads have gone to Lily Allen’s head?

The talented singer told Radio 1’s Sara Cox today that her performance with Dizzee Rascal at London’s O2 Arena in March 2010 will be her last for awhile, the Mirror UK reports.

Allen is planning on taking at least a two-year hiatus from singing and songwriting.

With all her free time, the musician plans on pursuing fashion by opening her own boutique (and stocking it with Chanel?).

The singer and Karl Lagerfeld muse will also test out her acting chops and start her own record label, says the site.

Looks like the French fashion house is a breeding ground for those seeking style ventures. This former Chanel campaign girl is branching out with her own line.

Everyone beware. If you mess with Ashlee Simpson get ready to take sister, Jessica Simpson’s wrath. Some of you might have heard that Ashlee was recently dropped from the new Melrose Place. As soon as that happened Jessica went a twittering all about how pissed she was. I love to see that family loyalty, but I was a little bit shocked. Usually Jessica tries to keep quiet, but not this time. It looks like she comes from the school of “mess with my family, mess with me”. Actually, I can appreciate that.

Well, it looks like Ashlee is bouncing back. Or at least she knows how to put on a smile when it is needed. Here, Ashlee was seen house hunting in LA. I wonder if her family has outgrown their current digs and are looking to upgrade. Ohhhh – any chance she could be looking to have another baby anytime soon? Alright, enough speculating. No matter what may or may not be going on, her look isn’t too shabby. Skinny jeans, slouchy boots, loose fitting tops, a scarf and a large Chanel Tote.

Once again, a Sex and the City character carrying the same bag we’ve already seen her carry earlier. I remember hearing that there aren’t as many wardrobe changes during this movie as much as the first one. In part, this has to do with the current state of the economy, but I am sure that there will be a plethora of amazing looks to check out.

Here, Sarah Jessica Parker is pictured walking the set of Sex and the City with a  plaid shirt and cute pair of jeans, killer Brian Atwood Loca purple heels and a Chanel Canvas Tote. The shoes make this outfit. Everything else is so casual and the studded heels pop.

Well, that’s one way to get people to forget about your raunchy home movies: flaunt your cute new baby bump around! Expectant parents Eric Dane (aka McSteamy) and Rebecca Gayheart (aka Noxema Girl) ran errands accompanied by Rebecca’s gorgeous black Chanel handbag. The quilted tote looks stylish with Rebecca’s top…good going!

Buh-bye black! Ashlee Simpson upgraded to a vibrant purple skirt and colorful print blouse on a recent outing, though she wisely opted for a black Chanel purse to tie the look together. Simpson’s style has really blossomed lately, probably has a result of her acting gig on “Melrose Place.” Whatever it is, we dig it.

Talk about shopping with style. “Gossip Girl” star Blake Lively hit up Saks Fifth Avenue with her Chanel Bubble Quilt Flap Bag in tow. With Blake’s brown leather jacket, floral blouse, gray shorts, and open-toe booties (designed by the fella next to her, Giuseppe Zanotti), it’s clear that this girl knows how to put together a fierce outfit.

Brace yourself folks. It is Stephanie Pratt and she looks hideous. Again. She is killing me here. As I’ve mentioned before I am addicted to The Hills. I don’t miss an episode. For me, Thursday is girls night and my friend and I watch (or re-watch) The Hills, Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice. It is a great line up. Last night we couldn’t stop talking about how hideous Stephanie looked. She’s clearly lost a ton of weight since last season, which is fine if she did it the right way, but she constantly looks like a hot mess.

These pictures don’t help. Stephanie was snapped doing some shopping with a friend in Hollywood. Her candy striper-ish dress is too short and very sloppy looking. Her shoes are cute, just not for this dress. The jacket works, but again, not with this look. And her Chanel bag? Well, frankly it is not one of my favorites. With all the money that she is being paid to be on The Hills she should meet with a stylist and get some pointers. Tim Gunn would cringe, if he isn’t already.

Looking stunning as usual, Sofia Vergara heads out for the day after getting her nails done at a Beverly Hills salon. Sporting leggings, flip flops and an off-the-shoulder top that would make Jennifer Beals proud, she balances it all out with a large Chanel Shopper, easily one of the chicest of all chic bags. Fabulous!

What’s our favorite prepster Blair Waldorf up to these days? Rocking a killer black Chanel purse, of course. Actress Leighton Meester was on the “Gossip Girl” set looking stylish as always in a plaid jacket, wild red pumps, and a slightly Girl Scoutish scarf/beret combo. The petite Chanel bag is just the icing on the cake, don’t you think?
