The Many Bags Of Kim Kardashian

When your wife is Kim Kardashian we imagine it can be pretty tricky to find a birthday present, for it seems this sexy lady has the whole world at her feet. This former PA and former fashion stylist to Lindsey Lohan has certainly come a long way thanks to the reality TV show “keeping up with the Kardashian”

Taylor Swift
If you haven’t checked out Taylor Swift’s Dolce & Gabbana bag, there’s just one thing to know – that’s its one of her favorite things. When she isn’t cosying up to Ed Sheeran, knitting, baking or adopting new cats, her favorite thing to do is go out for a stroll with this tote. It’s relatively new and not many celebs carry it but there’s still something vintage chic about it. It could be that the shape is a direct throwback to retro styles!

Miss Dita Von Tease never makes a fashion mistep and she certainly hits the right notes when she steps out with the Dolce & Gabbana Miss Dolce Woven Bag. Sure she may have had some questionable taste in Husbands (Marylin Manson) but whether stepping out to go shopping or stepping off a flight at LAX she always look fashionable and well put together. You would expect nothing less from a woman who has a complete room in her home dedicated to hats right? The color of choice for Miss Von Teese and the Dolce & Gabbana Miss Dolce Woven Bag is a lovely vintage looking off white that will match well with anything but is most commonly seen with Ms. Von Teese in a matching off white outfit.

Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift has been in the news quite a lot this past week. First, her 4th of July made the most waves of any celebrity celebration in the US simply because of how many famous faces she got together. She partied with Lena Dunham, Jessica Szohr, Emma Stone and so many others as though they’ve been BFFs for life. Do celebrities hang out together because they genuinely love each other as their huge smiles indicate or do they hang out together because their photos come out ridiculously good? That’s a question for the ages. The vintage-loving pop star then penned an article explaining to aspiring musicians that success comes to those who can connect with their fans. This sage advice would be a little easier to swallow if she were to explain how to get those fans in the first place. That’s like explaining how to wear a cute little black dress without explaining how to get legs and long and slender as her own. Oh wait, some things come down to luck, not just hard work.

Somehow, Taylor Swift always manages to look like she’s currently walking around in an imaginary world that only exists on Pinterest or Teen Vogue. Even her posture is flawlessly camera ready. Maybe she’s learned a thing or two from her friendships with Victoria’s Secret models. For a while there, people were accusing her of being emotional and having too many boy problems because of her song lyrics. Before Miley Cyrus, she was taking all the world’s pop star hate. These days, it’s rare to hear anything from her at all. Maybe she’s taken all the criticism to heart.

We can only extrapolate from her attire that she’s doing well anyway and isn’t on some kind of fame-induced downward spiral. After all, you can’t look this flawless and not feel great too. She usually tops off her polished looks with a Dolce & Gabbana bag. This one – the Agata bag – is a smaller version of her usual fave.

If  contemporary fashion trends a la Kardashian aren’t your style, follow one of this generation’s rock icons instead. We don’t see very many Dolce & Gabbana bags being showcased in street style but Florence Welch of Florence And The Machine makes a good case of how it’s done. She pieced together a look comprising of a flowing, floral print dress, retro chunky heels in maroon and this snakeskin Dolce bag. It’s called the Miss Sicily bag (Dolce is an Italian brand and Sicily is a beautiful city in the gorgeous country) and it’s python print. Couldn’t get more rock n roll if it tried.

Carey Mulligan Sporting Her D & G Miss Sicily bag with Great Style.jpg

Carey Mulligan has shown she knows classic. She is a classic beauty, loves classic fashion and is even set to star in a movie based on a classic book this summer; “The Great Gatsby.” Which such a love of classic items, it should come as no surprise that she has been spotted all over town carrying a Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily purse.

The Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily bag is a classically silhouetted satchel that has been updated and made modern by the fabric choice. Carey’s bag features a light blue and grey textured wool fabric paired with a lambskin leather top handle and removable shoulder strap, however, the bag is available in various fabrics, colors and designs. My personal favorite is a black and white lace pattern, but is also popular in a black patent leather, leopard print and snake print pattern.

The Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily bag is popular among those like Carey Mulligan, who love classic styles. The classic, ladylike lines appeal to women of all ages and have made this bag an instant favorite. It is currently sold at Dolce & Gabbana and high end retailers like Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom’s. Carey’s particular bag costs $1,995, however the Miss Sicily bag ranges in price from $1,795 to $2,995, based on the fabric or type of leather used on the bag.

Madonna For Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2010

Check out Madonna in Dolce & Gabbana’s new spring/summer 2010 ad campaign, which was captured by celebrity photographer Steven Klein on November 6th in New York City. The images will be published in this week’s Italian edition of Vanity Fair.

The ad campaign, which is inspired by Italian Neorealism cinema, shows a very domesticated Madonna washing dishes and preparing food at a dining room table.

Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said, “To have Madonna in our campaign is a dream come true”.

Fergie spoted with Dolce & Gabbana ‘Miss Sicily’ Tote

Fergie spotted outside her New York City hotel earlier this week looking effortlessly NY-Chic.

The fergster dressed in all black paired her L’Wren Scott jeans with an embellished jacket and finished the look with oversized sunnies (a must right?), very fabulous studded booties and the Dolce & Gabbana ‘Miss Sicily’ Leather Tote.

The Miss Sicily is pretty much one of the most amazing bags out by the design team. The timelessly stylish bag features classic gold-tone hardware, shiny leather, spacious interior with two interior compartments, and an optional shoulder strap.
