Readying herself for her forthcoming performance at this weekend’s Summertime Ball, Jennifer Lopez was spotted as she touched down at London’s Luton Airport on June 9. She carried her Hermes 35 CM Matte Crocodile Birkin in Fauve with gold hardware.

Despite seeing his elaborate heels on the feet of countless celebrities, Christian Louboutin’s icon status reached all new heights with the release of Jennifer Lopez’s new song, “Louboutins” from her upcoming Love? album.

At the recent opening of his Miami boutique, Fashion Week Daily asked the French designer for his take on the single: “Jennifer told me about the song back in January, and I was extremely flattered,” he said. “But of course, in America the public pronounces my name in like a million different ways. So Jennifer called me, and she was like, ‘Listen, I want to make sure that I get it right.’ And she did…from the very first time!”

According Louboutin, who claims to already know the song by heart, Lopez mentions his name 45 times (“Trust me, I’ve counted!”) in the three-plus-minute dance track. We can’t wait to see what comes next in the Louboutin-J. Lo love fest: the stiletto master is hard at work creating shoes for the eponymous music video, set to film next month.

Jennifer Lopez sizzled in a sexy black dress for the premiere of Michael Jackson’s “This is It,” and if you look closely you’ll note that her purse is none other than a lovely black pleated Lanvin clutch with ribbon accents. From that hot dress to the purse (understated yet romantic) to those killer boots, this look is a total thrill.

The metal-edged handbag is a hot celebrity favorite right now, as Rihanna has also recently been photographed with the purse. It’s not hard to see why! (And hello – it’s even leatha!)

A blazing red dress and an animal-print designer purse? Someone’s getting in touch with her wild side. While out raising awareness for adult whooping cough, Jennifer Lopez took a moment to pose for the paps and show off her fierce camel leopard-print tote. It may not be the most serious-minded “I’m a philanthropist now” ensemble, but it certainly gets attention. But can you name the handbag’s designer?

After spending the weekend in Japan promoting Samantha Thavasa bags, Jennifer Lopez is already back in the US.

The diva was clearly over her jet-lag, as she dined with her husband at Cecconi’s in LA last night.

After checking out her cute ensemble, which included tapered pants, a black off-the-shoulder Thomas Wylde La Cruz top, a Streets Ahead studded belt, and Christian Louboutin multi buckle sandals, I wondered if she would prove me wrong, and carry a Samantha Thavasa bag.

Nope. Instead she carried a Valentino Petale studded tote.

We’ve seen Blake Lively carrying this tote sans studs on the Gossip Girl set, but Jennifer’s bag has a harder, rock n’ roll edge, with the multiple studs.

The retail price of the bag is $4,495, which I guess is enough to buy quite a few Samantha Thavasa bags
