A few months back we learned the news that Taylor Momsen had been replaced by Kelly Osbourne as the face of Madonna and Lourdes Leon’s Material Girl collection at Macy’s. Now, the first shots from Kelly’s spring campaign have been released.
While Momsen was all raccoon eyes and attitude, Kelly takes Material Girl to a far more fun place. Though I first thought the 26-year-old “Fashion Police” co-host might be too old for the gig, she proves to be the perfect model for the line’s ’80s-inspired outfits. And while the bra tops may be a little risque in most teens’ parents’ eyes, the rest of the collection is fun, flirty, and funky.
Kelly has already fallen in love with a few key pieces from the collection herself. “The shoes — there’s a pair of nude heels that I’m really obsessed with,” Osbourne told People.com, adding, “There’s so much stuff in it that’s so me and what I wear. There’s a leopard dress that I get to wear next that I’m excited about. I love prints.”
One of Osbourne’s favorite things about Material Girl? It’s accessible to everyone. “Material Girl is incredible because it’s high fashion but it’s also accessible to anyone who shops at Macy’s, and there’s a Macy’s in every town, so everyone can get it.”

So Madonna, Jesus and Lourdes walk into a room… er, is it just me or is this sounding like a joke? But there’s no punchline here, just a fabulous purse in the form of Madge’s foxy black Jimmy Choo Blythe bag. I love the sexy texture and wraparound buckles. It almost distracts me from that disturbing blouse Madonna’s wearing. Almost.

Check out Madonna in Dolce & Gabbana’s new spring/summer 2010 ad campaign, which was captured by celebrity photographer Steven Klein on November 6th in New York City. The images will be published in this week’s Italian edition of Vanity Fair.
The ad campaign, which is inspired by Italian Neorealism cinema, shows a very domesticated Madonna washing dishes and preparing food at a dining room table.
Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said, “To have Madonna in our campaign is a dream come true”.

Madonna is seen looking fierce as she carries her black Louis Vuitton Mahina XXL leaving the Casa do Saber, a children’s charity in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
You probably saw Lady GaGa’s special skit with Madonna on Saturday Night Live…
but you didn’t see the this!
Check out the original version of the skit – complete with a song! – that the Queen and Princess of Pop performed at the dress rehearsal, which never aired.

Madonna’s run her course over at Louis Vuitton; for the luxury company’s next campaign, It-Girl model Lara Stone will step into the spotlight, gracing the spring-summer campaign, which will be shot by photography great Steven Meisel.
Meanwhile, for their sunglasses campaign, Vuitton enlisted artist/designer/socialite/businessman André Saraiva to photograph his fab friends (such as Vahina Giocante, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, and Oliver Zahm) in the bright and funky shades at The Standard in New York. The label apparently wanted a youthful, up-all-night feel for the campaign.
Sounds like they’re trying to entice a younger buyer – maybe they should lower their prices if that’s the case.
