Pop icon Katy Perry was recently seen in head to toe Prada at a Miu Miu’s runway show at Paris Fashion Week. The singer dyed her hair blue shortly after a shocking divorce from husband of one year Russel Brand. Maybe the blue is a hint at the singer’s own heartbreak, but that doesn’t stop her from looking like a million bucks. Her bright yellow flame sandals are what a superhero hottie would wear while fighting crime. Even her printed dress hints at flames — a signal to Russel that’s she’s moved on and hotter than ever?
Katy’s bag is a real eye-catcher and blues seem to be really in these days when it comes to handbag colors. This gem’s called the Prada Studded Frame bag. This studded version of the bag is called the Saffiano Lux–candy-colored pale blue. Katy’s not the only A list-er who’s been seen toting this must-have accessory. Mad Men star January Jones has been seen carrying a more classic version of the bag in black and beige with a sliver of red. Beautiful model Miranda Kerr and lucky wife of Orlando Bloom was seen with a dusty, feminine pink version in her hometown of Australia. There’s no doubt that this is one of Spring’s hottest handbags.
After the last Miu Miu ad was banned for featuring ‘dangerous images’ of 15-year-old actress Hailee Steinfeld, it’s no wonder the label has decided to go in a different direction.
The new campaign sees Alice in Wonderland star Mia Wasikowska, who has been signed up as the new face, in a slightly less controversial pose. The 22-year-old shows off the new collection against a plainer backdrop.
Mia has made a name for herself starring in Tim Burton’s 3D film as well as playing Jane Eyre last yea and has also been a fixture on the fashion scene, attracting attention for her quirky style.
The Australian star was pictured on the front row of the Miu Miu show last season – a clue she was the next big thing for the brand, owned by Prada.

Tuesday night Nylon Magazine and American Eagle hosted a dinner for November cover star Rachel Bilson at Sherbourne restaurant in Los Angeles.
Rachel looked casual but stylish carrying a tan mattelassé suede clutch by Miu Miu and wearing Christian Louboutin “Pigalle” pointed toe pumps. She also wore a shiny metallic jacket by Vanessa Bruno paired with a black tee by The Row and rolled up slim jeans by Goldsign .

Hailee Steinfeld is only 14, but she’s already a seasoned pro when it comes to the red carpet. The young star was consistently stunning during awards season, lighting up events in age-appropriate creations by Marchesa, Alberta Ferretti and Prada.
Now, Steinfeld has been chosen to front the next campaign for Miu Miu, Miuccia Prada’s more youthful label. Hailee has been spotted in several Miu Miu pieces, including the crystal-emblazoned dress she wore to the BAFTA Awards in February.
Previous Miu Miu spokesmodels include Lindsay Lohan, Katie Holmes, Kirsten Dunst and Kim Basinger. Hopefully Hailee will be just the girl to capture Miu Miu’s playful spirit.
