There is no denying Taylor Swift is on top of the world right now. She has had hit records, won AMAs, Country Music awards and Grammy awards. And her movie, “The Lorax,” is number one at the box office right now. Combine all of her talent with her wholesome, sweet and down-to-earth image and it’s no wonder people think so highly of her.
But lately, Taylor Swift has been giving fashionistas a reason to love her. Most celebrities wear expensive clothes and carry around high end, expensive purses. Those of us with a middle class income cannot afford to spend that much money on purses and are left to drool over the purses we like in celebrity magazines. However, Taylor Swift has been sporting a fashionable purse that the masses can enjoy and afford. She has been carrying the Ralph Lauren Rugby Saddle Bag, which retails for only $298.
The Rugby Saddle Bag is a western-inspired bag, composed of high grain leather and features western stitching and an adjustable shoulder strap. The strap can be adjusted so the bag can be worn over the shoulder or across the body. It is part of the Rugby collection, by Ralph Lauren and can be purchased through their website.

Taylor Swift has been spotted everywhere the last month showing off a bold teal French Connection purse. This is the Stitched Handbag in Vegas Green and can be purchased from the French Connection website for an affordable $118.

Those starlets just can’t get enough of designer fringed purses this season, and Taylor Swift is no exception. But instead of opting for the standard Roberto Cavalli or JJ Winters, Taylor is carrying a frigned leather handbag from the lesser-known Texas label SL McFadin. I love the bag and its dark chocolate leather, but I’m not crazy about Taylor’s outfit. A floral dress, striped cardi, blue flats, and a boho bag = way too much. Still, I could definitely see myself getting lots of mileage out of a trendy but surprisingly versatile purse like this.

Country star Taylor Swift graces the cover girl of Allure magazines April 2009 edition.
The singer’s sophomore album Fearless was #1 in the US pop album chart for 11 weeks, which seals her superstar status.
In her interview, Taylor talks about some difficult issues like weight and sex. Here are some extracts:
On weight: “Basically, if I’m indulging too much and not exercising enough, I can feel that. I can feel a change before I see it. For me, working out is not so I can stay skinny. It’s so that I can keep up my endurance so I’m not panting on stage. Heavy breathing is the worst when you’re in concert. You don’t want to see that, if you’re going to see a show.”
On staying quiet about her virginity: “It’s fine to talk about love publicly. But I think when you talk about virginity and sex publicly, people just automatically picture you naked. And as much as I can prevent people picturing me naked, I’m going to.”
On Fairy Tales: “I have always been fascinated with fairy tales… and the idea that Prince Charming is just one castle away. And you’re gonna run across a field and meet each other in the middle, and have an amazing, perfect movie kiss. And it’s all gonna be happily ever after.”
On writing that perfect break-up song: “For some reason, I could never, ever stop writing songs about heartbreak. Just because as human beings, what we can’t have is what we replay in our head over and over again before we go to sleep.”
